Hi Everyone
It has been 2 weeks since our last blog. It has been a busy couple of weeks. Travelling through Canada and all the fires and smoke. Returning to Jasper and picking up trailer. Putting trailer back in service, etc., etc. Notice the pics below the smoke conditions on our drive:

Picking up the RV was a joyful event. We missed our home on wheels. We found the RV in great shape. There was a sign of a little visitor (mouse) having paid us a visit. However, due to condition we left the RV, he or she could not find food to eat and promptly vacated. Cleaning was simple and uneventful. We spent 3 days making sure all was operational before getting on the road again. The last stop in Canada was Fairmont Hot Springs. We were scheduled for a week stay. Due to smoke conditions from BC fires as close as 4 hours to our west, we were forced to leave early. That was a 3 day donation to the RV park.

Crossed the border into western Montana and slowly working our way to Estes, CO. for a few days in Rocky Mountains National Park. We had never been to the western end of Montana and we found the mountains here gorgeous and a cross between Oregon and South Dakota Black Hills area. Currently we are in a little gem of a campground in Garryowen, MT. This campground is beautiful, well cared for and family owned and operated. The views are great, as well as the peace and quiet. We are here for 3 nights and will be on the road this Saturday. A one night stop in Cheyenne, WY. and Estes Park on Sunday. If we manage to get some good shots of the Rockies, we will blog again.
Safe travels

ReplyDeleteWhat an adventure guys! Love you both!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. Great shots of the animals. I bet they're trying to get away from that smoke top. Sorry your stay was cut short a little. Also I like flowery words
